CREATIVE SPECS:

Zero intrusion. The idea of a light and portable equipment like this was to capture the moment respecting the privacy of the survivors. "... inspired by classical Japanese composition and framing." "It's a sort of moving photograph that really allows the viewer to see the details." Slow pans and tilts avoided the rolling-shutter cameras 'Jello-cam' effect.

Voters go to the polls on July 1st to choose from four contrasting candidates.

Yet with an estimated 3.5 million people voting for the first time, the real players in this election may well be the country’s youth. A non-partisan political movement known as YoSoy132 – I am 132 – has gathered momentum in recent weeks, erupting out of university campuses and spreading contagiously across social media and city streets...

The Marmalade: The beauty of high speed

The Marmalade Creative Effects is a special effects studio in Germany. What captured my attention on this particular video, in addition to the beautiful images, was the use of a "High Speed Motion Control System" they called 'Spike'. You may want to pay special attention to the minute 02:54 of the video. The precision that uses Spike to follow the falling cup of wine to the floor. That opens a new panorama about making special "high speed" shooting. I see that they are using a "Phantom" camera (a really small one) on the 'Spike'. The "Phantom HD Gold". But what makes the SPIKE an amazing tool for filmmakers is the robotic arm that controls the High Speed Movement of the camera.

Surely we will be seeing more amazing images on commercial and cinema.
